Think about this... if God really is all powerful and He hears and answers prayers then, prayer is the most powerful and most effective thing that we can do everyday - not to mention the wisest.
After reading the novel Blink by Ted Dekker, I pondered about this fact and believe in my heart that prayer is the best investment I can do with my time in a daily basis. And after starting to develop [meaning, I started underachieving then grow bit by bit], God keep showing up! Everyday, I begun to from walking from victory to victory. Life did not became easy though but I no longer get easily shaken when I face adversity since I just talk about it to God then I begun to become confident that God has my best interest at heart. And God would just show His outstretched arms and help me! Isn't that amazing?
One of the latest that happened was on January 1, 2006. It has been a practice in our family to pray every time the year ends. I asked them to pray for 3-4 things. And you know what happened? I got 1 answer to my prayer @ January 10.:-) And 2 other answers are floating and will happen 6 months from now.How is that? This is something I have prayed for and it happened!! And the best thing about it, is that I did not received it because I am good or I am the best, I received it simply becasue of the favor of God. The Bible says that He will cause us to be at the right place and at the right time.:-). This is just the beginning soon I will have a Bible study again.:-). I 've been praying that God will use me as He has used Ate Joy C. and guess what? It's floating and the answer is coming up without me even lifting a finger to make it happen.
Praise the Lord!
Let these words be a testimony that God is not deaf or sleeping or dead; God is alive and He is awake and ready to hear and answer our prayers!
